To Bob We still truly can’t believe you’ve gone. You’ve been a massive inspiration to our family and will always continue to be. We will never forget your open, honest attitude to life, your courage, your competitiveness, the love and passion for your family and friends and most importantly, your sheer lust for life. I have many childhood memories of spending time with you all in Leicester; falling off your huge bike into a ditch and being covered in mud from head to toe, you getting us to “help” lay the lawn at your house, and later on in life, me and Angela as 19 year olds going for a night on the town and you checking our outfits weren’t too risqué! Or the time we drank yours and Jeanette’s brandy when you’d gone away for the night, cunningly replaced it with brandy then discovering, to our horror, that it was whisky we’d been drinking!!! There are many more fun-filled memories that I’m sure will be talked about at future gatherings. That cheeky glint in your eye is something we will never ever forget.
